atune Labs, Inc. ("atune Labs," "we," "us") builds voice-powered products, including The Echoverse (a voice-controlled game) and atune (a voice-development product). atune Labs is the data controller for the information described here, across both products.
We built these products around one principle: your voice is yours. It is analyzed on your device in real time to make the experience work, and then it is gone.
When you use a voice feature, your microphone signal is analyzed live, on your device, to derive only what the product needs in the moment — for The Echoverse, the pitch of your voice, which moves your character. This happens in temporary memory, and the audio is immediately discarded. We do not record your voice, we do not save it to a file, and we never send it off your device. No recording of your voice ever reaches our servers or anyone else. Only derived signals — never the audio itself — are ever used beyond that moment (for example, your character's position, or whether you completed a level).
Playing requires no account, name, email, or profile. To save your progress across sessions and devices, we create an anonymous identifier and sync a small amount of gameplay data under it: which levels you've played and completed, a difficulty preference, a completion-quality signal derived from gameplay (not from your voice), and related timestamps. This is not linked to your real-world identity; it exists to preserve your progress.
If and when you create an atune account or subscription, we will collect the information needed to provide that service (such as account and billing details). We will describe those practices here, and update this policy, before any such collection begins.
We do not use advertising or device identifiers for tracking, we include no third-party advertising, and we embed no third-party analytics or tracking tools. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
As with any app that contacts a server, when your device communicates with us, our hosting provider necessarily receives basic technical data such as your IP address, used only to route and secure the connection.
Gameplay data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored by our infrastructure provider, Supabase, which processes data solely on our behalf as our service provider. A copy of your progress is also cached locally on your device so the product works offline.
Your gameplay data is stored on servers located in the United States (Amazon Web Services, US East / Ohio region), operated on our behalf by Supabase. If you use our products from outside the United States, including the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because The Echoverse is anonymous by design, we may need additional information to locate the data associated with your device. To make a request, contact us at support@atune.co.
Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy as our products evolve; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
